Maia Elsner is the author of overrun by wild boars (flipped eye, 2021). Her poems have been shortlisted for the 2020 Bridport Poetry Prize, 2020 National Poetry Competition, 2020 Elizabeth Brett Jenkins Poetry Prize and commended in the Troubadour International Poetry Prize. Her recent work has appeared in Prototype 3, Magma, The Maine Review and The Offing. Her poems have been widely anthologized, including in Un Nuevo Sol: British Latinx Writers (flipped eye, 2019), Field Notes on Survival (Bad Betty Press, 2020) and Crossing Lines: An Anthology of Immigrant Poetry (Broken Sleep Books, 2021).
