Born in Argentina in 1981, Karina Cicero has experimented with her second language, English, to explore polyphony and new textures in her writing. She has mainly written prose in Spanish but finds English more suitable for writing poetry. She holds a BA in English Literature and an MA in Contemporary Literature and Culture. She has published critical work both in English (Dandelion, BBK Centre for Contemporary Studies) and Spanish (Rapallo), and has contributed to public readings and presentations with Los Proxemicos in Buenos Aires.
